Fun Facts!

The GBA version of Alien Hominid was planned to release in the US according to an old post of theirs thats viewabale on The Wayback Machine but it most likely stayed an EU/AU exclusive because it came out in 2006, which was 2 years after the DS came out (2004)

.

As of September 13th 2021 this game has the most ports and releases out of all the behemoths games with 9 different releases and ports in total (it would be 10 if the Gizmondo release wasn't cancelled, Alien Hominid Invasion counts as a different game and wont be added to the count)

.

The All You Can Eat minigame is exclusive to the EU version of the original but is available in every region on the HD version meaning they probably got the idea for the minigame after the US version had already released so it was too late to add it to every region until HD came out

.

The Gamecube port of the game is pretty expensive and often goes for 80 dollars or more on sites like eBay and Mercari, however the GBA port is often in the hundereds if you aren't buying a reproduction cartridge as those are usually cheap (though they might not ship as thats what happened to me so be careful if you buy a repro, they might also not last as long as regular cartridges)

.

Alien Hominid did indeed get a mobile port like mentioned on the main page in 2005 but i cant find much about it past this image from GameFAQs

.

the minigame PDA games was actually the main inspiration for Battleblock Theater which could also be the reason that BBT has a level editor like the original PDA games did past being able to make levels to share them with others for extra multiplayer features
